Scosche's FD1380 mounting kit allows you to install an aftermarket DIN-sized receiver in 2000-up Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles with the integrated factory radio/control panel. The kit replaces the panel, while maintaining the original climate controls and hardware. The FD1380 includes the control panel, a radio/defroster harness, 18-foot Ford antenna extension cable, and 18-foot speaker extension cable. You must install the factory climate controls in the new panel. The Ford radio is merely a control unit the amplifier and tuner are in the rear of the vehicle. You must run the included antenna and speaker cables from the new aftermarket receiver to the Ford tuner/amp unit.
